Forum/Town Hall: Senator Comrie's Clergy Breakfast

It is with great pleasure that I extend to you an invitation to join me for a social Clergy Breakfast on Friday, April 17th, 2015 in collaboration with a leadering provider of community health services, CenterLight Healthcare. CenterLight  will provide an overview of their organization and the services they offer. The meting will convene promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will be held at the Robert Ross Johnson Family Life Center, located at 172-17 Linden Blvd., St. Albans, NY 11434.

This is an especially exciting time for faith-based organizations in New York State. Governor Cuomo recently appointed the esteemed former Assemblyman, Rev. Karim Camara as the Deputy Commissioner of the New York State Division of Homes and Community Renewal. Rev. Camara will be our keynote speaker for this occasion and he is anxious to share with us the mission and goals of his new position which oversees funding for faith-based and non-profit organizations. We anticipate a great exchange of ideas from which our community will benefit. There will also be other special guest speakers on hand to discuss best practices and funding opportunities for faith-based and not-for-profit organizations.

Please by advised that due to limited capacity you must RSVP at http://bit.ly/19nHtpS or contact Lois Menyweather at my district office menyweat@nysenate.gov or 718-454-0162 by April 10th, 2015.
