Understanding The Impact Of The Virus On Community Health

On Thursday, April 23rd from 7pm – 8pm, join Senator Krueger and Dr. Denis Nash, Distinguished Professor of Epidemiology, Executive Director CUNY Institute for Implementation Science and Population Health for the first of two virtual Town Halls on COVID-19. Part 1 will look at COVID-19’s impact on community health. Part 2 will address Taking Care of Your Own and Your Family’s Health – please stay tuned for additional details.

Dr. Nash is an Epidemiologist and the principal researcher on Chasing COVID, a study at CUNY which seeks answers to questions about COVID-19, including the impact of social distancing on disease spread and morbidity, asymptomatic transmission, and looking at antibodies to determine if individuals develop immunity to the virus, and how long immunity lasts.

You will have the option to view the event online through Facebook or to listen by calling in. Please note that you do not need a Facebook account or profile to view the event. Due to there being a limited number of participants who can call in, we ask that you please view the event through Facebook if you have internet access.
