THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend chapter 378 of the laws of 2014 amending the environ- mental conservation law relating to the taking of sharks, in relation to the expiration thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 378 of the laws of 2014, amending the environmental conservation law relating to the taking of sharks, as amended by chapter 303 of the laws of 2022, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed December 31, [2024] 2026. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15423-01-4
