Historic Building Will Host Downtown Hotel Project

BUFFALO (wned) - The old Curtiss Building at Huron and Franklin will become the core of a new 57 room hotel, with the old and closed Continental nightclub leveled to be replaced by a hotel and amenities wing.

A Restore New York grant of $1.3 million allocated by City Hall will help demolish the Continental. Senator William Stachowski says the total $14 million dollar Restore New York grant to Buffalo is the largest in the state.
