Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently visited West Babylon to view a newly completed road improvement project. Senator Fuschillo secured state funding for the Town to make the improvements.

As part of the improvement project, the Town of Babylon rehabilitated Patton Avenue between Wellwood Avenue and Little East Neck Road. The road, which is an important and widely utilized part of a business area, was deteriorating and needed to be overhauled. Using the state funds, the Town of Babylon completely reconstructed and resurfaced the road.
