Senator Pam Helming today announced that she has been named a member of the Cultural Affairs, Tourism, and Parks and Recreation Committee. Additionally, she will continue to serve as the ranking member on Housing, Construction and Community Development, Insurance, and Legislative Commission on Rural Resources.

“It is an honor to be named as a member of the Committee for Cultural Affairs, Tourism, and Parks and Recreation. The Finger Lakes region is a top destination drawing visitors from across the country to our beautiful lakes, environment, wineries, and craft breweries. I look forward to my new role on this committee as tourism continues to be a major driver in helping to grow our small businesses and economy across the region and state,” Helming said.

In addition to Cultural Affairs, Tourism, and Parks and Recreation, Senator Helming is a member of the committees on Agriculture; Rules; Commerce; Economic Development and Small Business; Legislative Women’s Caucus; and Racing, Gaming, and Wagering.
