Free Mpox Vaccines in Time for Pride!
In time for Pride, Thursday, June 22, I’m hosting an mpox vaccine event with the NYC Health Department and Senator Cordelle Cleare. In New York City, just 45 percent of those most at risk are fully vaccinated and the CDC recently issued warnings that there is a large risk of a resurgence of mpox so it is essential that those at risk get vaccinated. To determine your eligibility, visit the DOHMH mpox site. WHEN: Thursday, June 22, 3 - 6 pm WHERE: Bernie Wohl Center, 647 Columbus Avenue (between 91st & 92nd St) To make an appointment, please contact me at 212-633-8052 or hoylman@nysenate.gov. Appointments are requested but not required. Walk-ins are welcome!
