Senator Gaughran's Women of Distinction

With the celebration of Women’s History Month in March, our office is accepting nominations until Friday, March 15 for the Senate’s 22nd annual “Women of Distinction” program to honor local women making outstanding contributions to area communities.

We will be holding my New York State Senate Women of Distinction awards ceremony on Saturday, March 23rd at 12pm at the Cold Spring Harbor Library. My office will be accepting nominations for local residents to nominate friends, co-workers and neighborhood leaders whose outstanding work on behalf of their communities makes them deserving of special recognition by the State Senate as a New York “Woman of Distinction.” Nominees must reside in the 5th Senate District.

The deadline for submitting nominations is  Friday, March 15. Nominations can be submitted online at this link. E-mail requests for a nomination form can be sent to gaughran@nysenate.gov, or call our district office 516 922 1811.
