State Senator James Sanders Jr. (D-Rochdale Village, Far Rockaway) will be co-sponsoring a Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program along with Governor Andrew Cuomo, Queens elected officials, and Ready Rockaway Inc.
It will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Peninsula Preparatory Academy (in the gymnasium), located at 611 Beach 19th Street, Far Rockaway, NY 11691.
The presentation will give residents the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions.
All participants must register in advance at www.prepare.ny.gov
