No-Cost or Low-Cost Mammograms
Criteria:
Must be 40 years or older (35 and older if you have insurance).
Must have a NYS address (for uninsured women only).
No mammograms in the last 12 months.
If available please bring prior mammogram film for comparison. Must meet income requirements below for free mammogram (for uninsured women only).
If a woman has no insurance:
The Cancer Screening Program of NY will pay for your mammogram if your income is no higher than 250% of the 2011 Federal Poverty Guidelines. No co-pay required.

If a woman has insurance:
Most insurances cover a mammography screening at age 40 years and older. It is each patients responsibility to know how often their insurance carrier pays for screening mammograms. You will be required to pay your co-pay if required by your insurance.
Mammography reports are mailed out to the patient and her MD ( if complete address is given to us) within 10 business days.
