In New York City, approximately 4,000 New Yorkers are seriously injured and more than 250 are killed each year in traffic accidents. The Vision Zero Action Plan is the City’s framework for ending traffic deaths and injuries on the streets.
Tuesday, June 24th, Sen. Krueger will be hosting a Vision Zero Town Hall Presentation and Discussion on improving street safety in our community, along with Councilmembers Dan Garodnick and Ben Kallos and the New York City Department of Transportation. Additional participants will include the Office of the Mayor, the NYPD, local community boards, and Transportation Alternatives.
Join us to learn more about the plan, share your ideas about how to improve street safety, and help us identify dangerous locations in our neighborhoods.
