College Affordability Forum

On Thursday, October 11th, at 5:30pm I will be hosting a College Affordability Forum, along with Assemblymember Rebecca Seawright, and City Councilman Ben Kallos.

Join us to learn about the avenues to paying for college from financial aid representatives of SUNY, CUNY, and Mercy College. The experts will share information on eligibility requirements for the Excelsior Scholarship, which provides full tuition grants to eligible SUNY and CUNY students and prospective students, and the Enhanced Tuition Awards for eligible private school students and prospective students.

The event is open to all, and will be particularly beneficial to families and students who are preparing to pay for college in the coming months or years, and those currently in college. It will take place at  Eleanor Roosevelt High School at 411 East 76th Street.
