Senator Rob Rolison to Host Second Golden Gathering Event for Seniors on Sept. 21

State Senator Rob Rolison will host a Golden Gathering Free Senior Resource Fair and Breakfast on Saturday, September 21 at Arlington High School from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino and the county's Office for the Aging will co-host the popular event.

Rolison's 2023 Golden Gathering, also held at Arlington High School, attracted over 800 attendees and featured more than 60 vendors and informational and healthcare stations, including no-cost flu shots.

"I am thrilled at the opportunity to once again host our district's seniors for this special Golden Gathering," said Rolison. "This is a free, one-stop-shop event for all your resource needs: healthcare, benefits, and more. Please join us on Saturday, September 21 beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m. My colleagues and I look forward to serving you!"

Seniors can also bring expired or unused prescription medications along to the event for the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office to dispose of safely. This "shed the meds" service is provided free of charge.
