CLARK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the New York city health and hospitals corporation act, in relation to the appointment of chief executive officers at hospi- tals THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of section 1 of chapter 1016 of the laws of 1969, enacting the New York city health and hospitals corporation act, is amended by adding a new subdivision 12 to read as follows: 12. THE CORPORATION SHALL ASSURE THE APPOINTMENT OF AN ON-SITE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AT EACH HOSPITAL OPERATED BY THE CORPORATION. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
