AN ACT requiring the division of housing and community renewal to take a
  parcel of land through the eminent domain procedure

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The legislature hereby finds that it  is  necessary  for  a
public  purpose to procure certain property within the city of New York.
To that extent, the commissioner of the division of housing and communi-
ty renewal is hereby directed to take, through the use  of  the  eminent
domain  procedure as established under the eminent domain procedure law,
the following parcels in Brooklyn:
  (a) Lot 23, Walton Street, designated on the tax maps of such  borough
as block 2249;
  (b)  Lot  37,  174 Harrison Avenue, designated on the tax maps of such
borough as block 2249;
  (c) Lot 14, 334 Wallabout Street, designated on the tax maps  of  such
borough as block 2265;
  (d)  Lot  1,  611  Flushing Avenue, designated on the tax maps of such
borough as block 2268;
  (e) Lot 1, 58 Gerry Street, designated on the tax maps of such borough
as block 2269;
  (f) Lot 46, 75 Gerry Street,  designated  on  the  tax  maps  of  such
borough as block 2266;
  (g)  Lot  7,  76  Hopkins  Street,  designated on the tax maps of such
borough as block 1725;
  (h) Lot 122, 243 Wallabout Street, designated on the tax maps of  such
borough as block 2249; and
  (i)  Lot  41, 249 Wallabout Street, designated on the tax maps of such
borough as block 2249.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
