  printed, and when printed to be committed to the  Committee  on  Local
  Government -- reported favorably from said committee, ordered to first
  report,  amended  on  first  report,  ordered  to  a second report and
  ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of second report

AN ACT in relation to allowing town justice James Dwyer  to  temporarily
  reside outside of the town of Marcellus

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding section 3 of the public  officers  law,  or
any  other law, rule or regulation, town justice James Dwyer of the town
of Marcellus shall be allowed to temporarily reside outside of the  town
of  Marcellus  in  an adjoining town while acting as the town justice of
such town until his term expires on December 31, 2011.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
