BILL NUMBER: S4552 TITLE OF BILL : An act to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to designating park rangers of the town of Brookhaven as peace officers PURPOSE : To designate park rangers of the town of Brookhaven as peace officers. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS : Amends Section 2.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law to add new subdivision which would grant Peace Officer status to the town of Brookhaven Park Rangers.
