AN  ACT  to  amend  the public authorities law and the executive law, in
  relation to the powers of the Triborough bridge and tunnel authority

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section  553  of the public authorities law is amended by
adding a new subdivision 22 to read as follows:
  22. TO SUBMIT, IN THE FORM AND AT THE INTERVALS APPROVED BY THE  DIVI-
SION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES, A REPORT INDICATING:
  (A)  THE NUMBER OF SIMPLIFIED TRAFFIC INFORMATIONS FOR TRAFFIC INFRAC-
TIONS ISSUED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION SEVEN-A OF THIS SECTION BY OFFICERS
OF THE AUTHORITY;
  (B) THE NUMBER OF VIOLATIONS OF RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE AUTHORITY
GOVERNING TRAFFIC ON THE FACILITIES OF THE  AUTHORITY.  SUCH  VIOLATIONS
SHALL  BE  TRAFFIC  INFRACTIONS  AS  SUCH TERM IS DEFINED IN SECTION ONE
HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE OF THE VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC LAW AND SHALL BE  PUNISHA-
BLE AS SUCH;
  (C)  THE  NUMBER  OF  ARRESTS  MADE  BY  BRIDGE  AND  TUNNEL OFFICERS,
SERGEANTS AND LIEUTENANTS OF THE AUTHORITY;
  (D) THE NUMBER OF MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS AND MOTOR VEHICLE  FIRES  AS
REPORTED BY THE AUTHORITY ON THEIR FACILITIES; AND
  (E)  ANY  OTHER  INFORMATION  REQUESTED  BY  THE  DIVISION OF CRIMINAL
JUSTICE SERVICES.
  S 2. Subdivision 1 of section 837-b of the executive law,  as  amended
by chapter 459 of the laws of 1975, is amended to read as follows:
  1.  It  is  hereby  made  the  duty  of the state administrator of the
unified court system; and of every sheriff, county or city  commissioner
of  correction  and  head  of every police department, state, county, or
local, and also railroad, steamship, park, aqueduct  and  tunnel  police
