AN ACT to amend the uniform city court act, in relation to authorizing a
  part-time housing court judge in the city of Buffalo

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Paragraph  7  of  subdivision  (d) of section 2104 of the
uniform city court act, as amended by chapter 493 of the laws  of  2006,
is amended to read as follows:
  7 Buffalo, thirteen full-time AND ONE PART-TIME;
  S 2. Section 2104 of the uniform city court act is amended by adding a
new subdivision (g) to read as follows:
  (G)  NOTWITHSTANDING PARAGRAPH TWO OF SUBDIVISION (B) OF THIS SECTION,
THE PART-TIME JUDGE FOR THE CITY OF BUFFALO SHALL HAVE HIS OR HER JURIS-
DICTION LIMITED SOLELY TO HOUSING COURT ISSUES.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
