AN ACT in relation to moneys of the community projects fund

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rule or regu-
lation to the contrary, no appropriation or reappropriation, to be fund-
ed from the community projects fund in the state budget shall be reduced
or withheld once the legislator who proposed or sponsored the  appropri-
ation  or reappropriation is no longer in office and any commitment made
pursuant  to  such  appropriation  or  reappropriation  shall  be  fully
executed in accordance with governing laws and regulations.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
