  printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation

AN ACT to direct the department of transportation to retain jurisdiction
  over and continue to maintain the state route 219 bridge  over  Catta-
  raugus Creek/Zoar Valley, in the counties of Cattaraugus and Erie

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to
the contrary, the department of transportation is hereby authorized  and
directed  to  retain  jurisdiction  over  and the responsibility for the
maintenance of the state route two hundred nineteen bridge (bridge iden-
tification number  1041590)  that  crosses  the  Cattaraugus  Creek/Zoar
Valley in the counties of Cattaraugus and Erie.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
