AN ACT in relation to state aid for certain school districts

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.    Notwithstanding  any  other provision of the law to the
contrary, when two school districts bear a relationship  whereunder  one
school  district, having no public high school, sends to the public high
school of another school district  all  students  that  would  otherwise
attend  public high school in the sending district, then that school aid
which would be distributed to the  sending  school  district  under  the
present  funding  formula  were it to have a public high school shall be
distributed to the receiving high school.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
