AN ACT to amend the navigation law, in relation  to  the  base  pilotage
  tariffs at Sandy Hook, Sands Point and Execution Rocks

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Item (A) of subclause 1 of clause (ii) of subparagraph 1 of
paragraph (b) of subdivision 4 of section 88 of the navigation  law,  as
amended  by  chapter  537  of  the  laws  of 2010, is amended to read as
follows:
  (A) (i) The following rate table shall be used to calculate base pilo-
tage tariffs:

     [PILOTAGE UNITS (P.U.)   TARIFF
     0 to 24.99               $608
     25 to 49.99              $714
     50 to 99.99              $883
     100 to 499.99            $(8.87 x P.U.)
     500 and up               $((P.U. - 500) x 1.18) + 4435

  (ii) Effective January first, two thousand eleven, the following  rate
table shall be used to calculate base pilotage tariffs:
     PILOTAGE UNITS (P.U.)    TARIFF
     0 to 24.99               $626
     25 to 49.99              $735
     50 to 99.99              $909
     100 to 499.99            $(9.14 x P.U.)
     500 and up               $((P.U. - 500) x 1.22) + 4570

  (iii) Effective January first, two thousand twelve, the following rate
table shall be used to calculate base pilotage tariffs:]
     PILOTAGE UNITS (P.U.)    TARIFF
     0 to 24.99               $651
     25 to 49.99              $764

                      [ ] is old law to be omitted.
