CROUCH -- read once and referred to the Committee on Insurance AN ACT to amend the insurance law, in relation to the coverage of hospice services and palliative care for HEALTHY NY insurance policies THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subsection (d) of section 4326 of the insurance law is amended by adding a new paragraph 15 to read as follows: (15) HOSPICE SERVICES AS DEFINED IN SECTION FOUR THOUSAND TWO OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH LAW AND PALLIATIVE CARE AS DEFINED IN SECTION TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SEVEN-N OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH LAW. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD04883-01-1
