GRAF -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the powers and duties of the power authority of the state of New York THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1005 of the public authorities law is amended by adding a new subdivision 24 to read as follows: 24. THE AUTHORITY IS AUTHORIZED TO ALLOW THE STATE OF NEW YORK, AND ITS POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COUNTY GOVERN- MENTS, MUNICIPALITIES, TOWNS, VILLAGES, SPECIAL DISTRICTS, SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND FIRE DISTRICTS AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS TO BUNDLE ELECTRICAL SERVICES. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14858-02-2
