AN ACT to amend the general obligations law, in  relation  to  requiring
  ski  area  operators to provide helmets on-site for optional rental by
  skiers and snowboarders

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 18-103 of the general obligations law is amended by
adding a new subdivision 15 to read as follows:
  15. TO PROVIDE HELMETS ON-SITE FOR OPTIONAL RENTAL BY SKIERS AND SNOW-
BOARDERS.
  S 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed-
ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
