BILL NUMBER:S4276 TITLE OF BILL: An act to exempt certain properties on Roosevelt Island in New York City from certain reporting requirements regarding the disposal of property by a public authority PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To exempt certain properties on Roosevelt Island in New York City from the requirement to prepare an explanatory statement of the circumstances of the disposal by negotiation of public authority property. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 1: Provides that the provisions of paragraph d of subdivision 6 of section 2897 of the public authorities law, requiring the preparation of an explanatory statement of the circumstances of the disposal by negotiation of certain properties, shall not apply to the properties listed in section 2 of this act. SERRANO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to exempt certain properties on Roosevelt Island in New York City from certain reporting requirements regarding the disposal of property by a public authority THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the provisions of paragraph d of subdivision 6 of section 2897 of the public authorities law, requiring the preparation of an explanatory statement of the circumstances of the disposal by negotiation of certain proper- ties, shall not apply to the properties listed in section two of this act. S 2. The provisions of this act shall apply to the following proper- ties on Roosevelt Island in New York City, New York: a. 510 Main Street; b. 516 Main Street; c. 531 Main Street; d. 536 Main Street; e. 540 Main Street; f. 546 Main Street; g. 551 Main Street; h. 555 Main Street; i. 556 Main Street; j. 560 Main Street; k. 575 Main Street; l. 580 Main Street; m. 595 Main Street; and n. 625 Main Street. S 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD09403-01-1
