M. MILLER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to requiring the commis- sioner of transportation to cause reflectors to be placed on lanes of highways during work of construction, reconstruction or maintenance THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 10 of the highway law is amended by adding a new subdivision 47 to read as follows: 47. CAUSE REFLECTORS, OF A SIZE, SHAPE AND TYPE TO BE DETERMINED BY THE COMMISSIONER, TO BE PLACED ON ALL LANES OF STATE HIGHWAYS, DURING WORK OF CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION OR MAINTENANCE OF SUCH HIGHWAYS. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD04351-01-1
