BRONSON -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Codes AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to assaults against certain employees of state and local government agencies THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 120.05 of the penal law is amended by adding a new subdivision 13 to read as follows: 13. WITH INTENT TO CAUSE PHYSICAL INJURY TO AN EMPLOYEE OF NEW YORK STATE OR ANY OF ITS POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OR OF A PUBLIC AUTHORITY OR A PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION, HE OR SHE CAUSES PHYSICAL INJURY TO SUCH EMPLOYEE WHILE SUCH EMPLOYEE IS PERFORMING HIS OR HER DUTIES.
