TOBACCO -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Governmental Employees AN ACT to authorize and direct the metropolitan transportation authority to provide health insurance for the family of Andrew Greaves, an employee of the metropolitan transportation authority THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Whereas Andrew Greaves was an employee of the metropolitan transportation authority who was struck by an automobile while working on his job, and who died on September 10, 2003, leaving his wife, Tracy Greaves and his twin sons Sean Greaves and Ryan Greaves surviving him, and his said wife and sons being without health insurance coverage, as a result of such accident and the death of Andrew Greaves, the metropol- itan transportation authority is authorized and directed to provide health insurance coverage for his spouse Tracy Greaves, and his depen- dents Sean Greaves and Ryan Greaves. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD02719-01-1
