THIELE, HOOPER, RAIA -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. CONTE, MONTESANO, MURRAY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT authorizing any common, union free or central school district to enter into contracts for the purposes of providing school social work and related services THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any common, union free, or central school district may enter into an annual contract for the purposes of providing school social work and related services to the children of such school district with a not-for-profit corporation, organized under the laws of the state of New York. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10953-01-1
