AN ACT in relation to requiring the use of fire insurance taxes  to  pay
  for  health and dental insurance benefits for firefighters in the city
  of Rochester

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
the  amount  of  all  monies  received  by  the treasurer of the city of
Rochester under the provisions of sections 9104 and 9105 of  the  insur-
ance  law  shall  be used by the city of Rochester to pay for health and
dental insurance benefits  provided  to  members  and  retirees  of  the
Rochester  fire  department,  including  such  benefits provided through
collective bargaining.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  apply  to  all
monies  which  shall thereafter be received by the treasurer of the city
of Rochester pursuant to sections 9104 and 9105 of the insurance law.
