AN ACT to amend chapter 91 of the laws  of  2008,  amending  the  public
  health  law,  relating  to establishing a task force on toll plaza air
  quality, in relation to the expiration thereof

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section 3 of chapter 91 of the laws of 2008, amending the
public health law, relating to establishing a task force on  toll  plaza
air quality, is amended to read as follows:
  S  3.    This act shall take effect immediately, provided that section
one of this act shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on
and after the effective date  of  chapter  665  of  the  laws  of  2007;
provided further that section two of this act shall take effect April 1,
2008  and  shall  expire  April  1,  [2011] 2012 when upon such date the
provisions of such section two shall be deemed  repealed;  and  provided
further  that  appointments  to the task force on health effects of toll
plaza air quality in New York city shall be made prior to April 1, 2008.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  be  deemed  to
have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2011.
