ROZIC -- read once and referred to the Committee on Economic Development AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to notification to community boards THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 99 of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended by adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows: 4. NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPLY FOR A PERMIT PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION MUST BE SENT TO THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT OR, IF THERE IS NO LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT THEN TO THE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, AND SUCH NOTICE MUST ALSO BE SENT TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BOARD. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to all applications under section 99 of the alcoholic beverage control law made after such effective date.
