CYMBROWITZ -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT in relation to placing the area two hundred fifty feet south of the Riegelmann boardwalk under the jurisdiction of the New York city department of parks and recreation THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rule or regu- lation to the contrary, the area between the Riegelmann boardwalk and two hundred fifty feet south of the Riegelmann boardwalk, stretching from West 37th Street in Coney Island to Brighton 15th Street in Brigh- ton Beach, shall be under the jurisdiction of the New York city depart- ment of parks and recreation. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10385-01-3
