LAVALLE -- read twice and ordered print- ed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Govern- ment IN ASSEMBLY -- Introduced by M. of A. THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT in relation to authorizing the village of Sag Harbor, county of Suffolk, to reduce the speed limit in the village historic district as listed on the national register of historic places THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the village of Sag Harbor, Suffolk county is hereby authorized and empowered to lower the speed limit to not less than twenty miles per hour in the village historic district, as listed on the national register of historic plac- es. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14896-01-4
