RYAN -- read once and referred to the Committee on Judiciary AN ACT to amend the mental hygiene law, in relation to notice of peti- tion for the appointment of a guardian for purposes of property management THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (i) of subdivision (c) of section 81.21 of the mental hygiene law, as added by chapter 698 of the laws of 1992, is amended to read as follows: (i) the persons entitled to notice in accordance with paragraph one of subdivision [(d)] (E) of section 81.07 of this article; S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14327-01-4
