S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 319 2013-2014 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y (PREFILED) January 9, 2013 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. HAWLEY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments AN ACT authorizing the town of Carlton, county of Orleans, to provide crushed stone to certain residents of the town for the maintenance of certain stone lanes THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The town of Carlton, county of Orleans, acting by and through its town board is hereby authorized to enact a local law, allow- ing the town of Carlton to purchase crushed stone in bulk, for use on residential stone lanes not owned by such town. 2. Such stone shall be provided to the residents of the town of Carl- ton owning the property on which such stone lanes are located. 3. Such stone shall be stored at predetermined storage locations. The amount of crushed stone and the location of the storage of such stone shall be determined by the town board of the town of Carlton. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
