S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 1758 2015-2016 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y January 12, 2015 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. WRIGHT -- read once and referred to the Committee on Housing AN ACT to require that any disposition of land or buildings by the New York City Housing Authority be subject to and comply with the provisions of New York City's Uniform Land Use Review Procedure THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "NYCHA real property public review act". S 2. Notwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the contrary, any disposition of land or buildings by the New York City Housing Authority shall be subject to and shall comply with the provisions of New York City's Uniform Land Use Review Procedure in addition to the provisions of section 18 of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937. S 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD01218-01-5
