  printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules

AN ACT to amend the elder law, in relation to congregate services initi-
  ative for the elderly

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Subparagraphs 9 and 10 of paragraph (d) of subdivision 1 of
section  217  of  the elder law are amended and two new subparagraphs 11
and 12 are added to read as follows:
  (9) Employment services information; [and]
  (10) Health promotion and disease prevention services[.];
  (11) FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION; AND
  (12) ELDER ABUSE EDUCATION AND OUTREACH.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
