O'DONNELL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Correction AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to procedures for the conduct of the work of the state board of parole THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 259-i of the executive law is amended by adding a new paragraph (f) to read as follows: (F) NOTWITHSTANDING THE REQUIREMENTS OF PARAGRAPH (A) OF THIS SUBDIVI- SION, AN INMATE WHO HAS SUCCESSFULLY PARTICIPATED IN A TEMPORARY RELEASE PROGRAM FOR TWO YEARS WITHOUT INTERRUPTION IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO HIS OR HER BOARD APPEARANCE SHALL BE GRANTED PAROLE. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD04811-01-5
