S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 10520 I N A S S E M B L Y May 4, 2018 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. NORRIS, PEOPLES-STOKES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT relating to building aid for certain facilities of the Lockport city school district THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the property described in section two of this act, which was acquired by the Lockport city school district by deed dated October 5, 2016, shall be deemed to be property of the school district contig- uous to existing school buildings and shall be eligible for building aid for site development. § 2. The property of the Lockport city school district referred to in section one of this act is more particularly described as follows: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in the Town of Lockport, County of Niagara, State of New York, being part of Lots 4 and 6, Section 13, Township 14, Range 6 of the Holland Land Company's Survey, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the center line of Beattie Avenue which is a measured distance of 1,064.80 feet south from its intersection with the center line of Lincoln Avenue said point being the southwest corner of lands conveyed to Jay W. Heschke and Viola Heschke in Liber 689 at page 17; thence southerly along the center line of Beattie Avenue, a distance of 190.00 feet to a point thence easterly on a line parallel with the south line of Heschke in Liber 689 at page 17 and also being parallel with the north line of Jacob Stagner in Liber 158 at page 498, a distance of 233.00 feet to a point; thence southerly on line parallel with the center line of Beattie Avenue, a distance of 1235.14 feet to a point on the southerly line of lands conveyed to Stagner in Liber 158 at page 498; thence easterly along Stagner's south line, a distance of 2039.99 feet to a point 400.00 feet west of the west line of lands conveyed to Tim C. Mulvey and Mary Ellen Mulvey by deed recorded in Liber 3232 at page 270, said line also being the west line of "Lock Haven Estates" subdivision in Book 60 of Microfilm Maps pages 6013 and EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
