 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  general municipal law, in relation to exempting
   certain capital projects undertaken by  a  municipality  jointly  with
   another municipal corporation from the spending tax cap

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 3-c of the general  municipal  law  is  amended  by
 adding a new subdivision 8 to read as follows:
   8.  THE  PROVISIONS  OF  THIS  SECTION  SHALL NOT APPLY TO ANY CAPITAL
 PROJECT UNDERTAKEN BY A LOCAL GOVERNMENT JOINTLY WITH ANOTHER  MUNICIPAL
 CORPORATION.
   §  2.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
 the amendment to section 3-c  of  the  general  municipal  law  made  by
 section  one of this act shall not affect the repeal of such section and
 shall be deemed to repeal therewith.
