 AN  ACT to amend the education law, in relation to state aid for certain
   community colleges
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Paragraph b of subdivision 1 of section 358 of the educa-
 tion law, as amended by chapter 698 of the laws of 1948  and  as  relet-
 tered by chapter 782 of the laws of 1966, is amended to read as follows:
   b.  Community  colleges, PROVIDED THAT SUCH COMMUNITY COLLEGE PROVIDES
 AN EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM, AS PRESCRIBED BY SECTION  SIX  THOU-
 SAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO OF THIS CHAPTER.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
 become a law.
