 AN ACT to amend the navigation law, in  relation  to  pilotage  fees  on
   vessels  transiting  the New York state waters of Long Island Sound or
   Block Island Sound east of Execution Rocks or Sands Point

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subparagraphs  1 and 2 of paragraph b of subdivision 4 of
 section 89-b of the navigation law, subparagraph 1 as amended by chapter
 473 of the laws of 2012 and subparagraph 2 as amended by chapter 339  of
 the laws of 2007, are amended to read as follows:
   (1) Upon the effective date of this paragraph and thereafter:
   All  vessels  shall pay [seven] EIGHT dollars AND EIGHTY-SIX CENTS per
 pilotage unit; from January  first,  two  thousand  [thirteen]  EIGHTEEN
 until  January first, two thousand [fourteen] NINETEEN all vessels shall
 pay [eight] NINE dollars and [eleven] FOUR cents per pilotage unit; from
 January first, two thousand [fourteen] NINETEEN until January first, two
 thousand [fifteen] TWENTY, all vessels shall pay  [eight]  NINE  dollars
 and  [twenty-seven]  TWENTY-TWO  cents  per  pilotage unit; from January
 first, two thousand [fifteen] TWENTY until January first,  two  thousand
 [sixteen]  TWENTY-ONE  all  vessels  shall  pay [eight] NINE dollars and
 [forty-four] FORTY cents per pilotage  unit;  from  January  first,  two
 thousand  [sixteen] TWENTY-ONE until January first, two thousand [seven-
 teen] TWENTY-TWO all vessels shall pay [eight] NINE dollars and  [sixty]
 FIFTY-NINE  cents  per  pilotage  unit;  on and after January first, two
 thousand [seventeen] TWENTY-TWO  all  vessels  shall  pay  [eight]  NINE
 dollars and [eighty-six] SEVENTY-EIGHT cents per pilotage unit.
   (2)  A minimum charge calculated on [one] TWO hundred [fifty] pilotage
 units shall apply to vessels of less  than  [one]  TWO  hundred  [fifty]
 units  of measurement. A maximum charge calculated on five hundred pilo-
 tage units shall apply to vessels of more than  five  hundred  units  of
 measurement.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  navigation law, in relation to pilotage fees on
   vessels transiting the New York state waters of Long Island  Sound  or
   Block Island Sound east of Execution Rocks or Sands Point
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 cents per pilotage unit;  on  and  after  January  first,  two  thousand
 [seventeen]  TWENTY-TWO  all  vessels shall pay [eight] NINE dollars and
 [eighty-six] SIXTY-EIGHT cents per pilotage unit.
