GALEF -- read once and referred to the Committee on Real Property Taxation AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to including spent fuel rods from nuclear reactors within the definition of real property THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 12 of section 102 of the real property tax law is amended by adding a new paragraph (j) to read as follows: (J) SPENT FUEL RODS FROM NUCLEAR REACTORS WHICH ARE PENDING FURTHER OR FINAL DISPOSAL. § 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2019. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13572-02-7
