 AN  ACT  to  amend  the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to a
   license to sell liquor at retail for consumption on certain premises

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision  7  of  section  64 of the alcoholic beverage
 control law is amended by adding  a  new  paragraph  (e-9)  to  read  as
 follows:
   (E-9) NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF PARAGRAPH (A) OF THIS SUBDIVI-
 SION,  THE AUTHORITY MAY ISSUE A RETAIL LICENSE FOR ON-PREMISES CONSUMP-
 TION FOR A PREMISES WHICH SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN TWO HUNDRED FEET OF  A
 BUILDING  OCCUPIED EXCLUSIVELY AS A CHURCH, SYNAGOGUE, OR OTHER PLACE OF
 WORSHIP, PROVIDED SUCH PREMISES CONSTITUTES A PREMISES FOR THE  SALE  OF
 FOOD  OR  BEVERAGES  AT  RETAIL  FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES LOCATED
 WHOLLY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES  OF  THE  COUNTY  OF  ULSTER,  BOUNDED  AND
 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
   ALL  THAT  PIECE  OR PARCEL OF LAND, SITUATED IN THE VILLAGE OF ELLEN-
 VILLE, TOWN OF WAWARSING, COUNTY  OF  ULSTER  AND  STATE  OF  NEW  YORK,
 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
   BEGINNING  AT  A  POINT  IN THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF CANAL ST. AT ITS
 INTERSECTION WITH THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF HERMANCE ST, SAID POINT ALSO
 BEING THE MOST WESTERLY CORNER OF LANDS HEREIN DESCRIBED:
   RUNNING THENCE ALONG THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF HERMANCE STREET,  NORTH
 44  DEGREES  57  MINUTES 27 SECONDS EAST, A DISTANCE OF 105.52 FEET TO A
 POINT BEING THE MOST WESTERLY QUARTER OF LANDS NOW  OR  FORMERLY  SEQUI,
 LIBER  1885  AT PAGE 56, SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE MOST NORTHERLY CORNER
 OF LANDS HEREIN DESCRIBED;
   THENCE ALONG THE SOUTHWESTERLY LINE NOW OR FORMERLY SEGUI, AND  GENER-
 ALLY  FOLLOWING  A  WOOD FENCE A PORTION OF THE WAY, SOUTH 44 DEGREES 55
