S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 10133 I N A S S E M B L Y March 12, 2020 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. HAWLEY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 579 of the laws of 2004, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the county of Genesee to impose a county recording tax on certain mortgage obligation, in relation to extending the provisions of such chapter THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 579 of the laws of 2004, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the county of Genesee to impose a county recording tax on certain mortgage obligation, as amended by section 1 of subpart F of part C of chapter 61 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall have become a law; and shall expire on November 1, [2020] 2023, when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15680-01-0
