 AN ACT to amend the Nassau county civil divisions act,  in  relation  to
   the  Volunteer  and  Exempt Fireman's Benevolent Association of Nassau
   county
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1. Section 632.5 of the Nassau county civil divisions act, as
 added by chapter 237 of the laws of 1940, is amended to read as follows:
   § 632.5 Management and control. The control and disposal of the funds,
 property and estate of the corporation, the exercise of its powers,  and
 the  management  and  control  of  its  affairs,  except  as hereinafter
 provided, shall be vested in and exercised by a board of trustees  which
 shall  consist of [nine] ELEVEN members of such corporation, to wit: the
 president, the vice-president, the secretary, the  financial  secretary,
 the  treasurer and [four] SIX other members having the title of trustee.
 The [four] SIX members having the title of trustee of  such  corporation
 shall  be  representative  respectively  of  each of the [four] SIX fire
 companies of the Massapequa Fire Department Inc. and each  trustee  must
 be  or  must  have  been  a  member of the fire company of which he is a
 representative. Such officers and trustees shall be elected at the annu-
 al meeting of such corporation in the manner prescribed by its by-laws.
   § 2. Section 632.6 of the Nassau county civil divisions act, as  added
 by chapter 237 of the laws of 1940, is amended to read as follows:
   §  632.6  Precept for payment of foreign fire insurance premium taxes.
 Such corporation shall collect and there shall be paid  to  it  all  tax
 imposed  by  section  [five  hundred  and fifty-three] NINE THOUSAND ONE
 HUNDRED FOUR of the insurance law, for fire department use  and  benefit
 upon  premiums  for  insurance  against  loss or damage by fire covering
 property situated within the Massapequa fire district  of  the  town  of
 Oyster  Bay,  Nassau  county,  New  York,  and within any duly organized
 territory in which the Massapequa Fire Department Inc. may be  obligated
 to render fire protection. The officer of said corporation designated by
 its by-laws to collect and receive the aforesaid tax shall have the same
