S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 4060 2019-2020 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y January 31, 2019 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. HYNDMAN -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Health AN ACT to direct the New York state department of health to conduct a study on the incidences of asthma in cities having a population of one hundred thousand or more and to prepare a report THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The commissioner of the New York state department of health is hereby authorized and directed to prepare or have prepared a study of the incidences of asthma in all cities having a population of one hundred thousand or more. The study and report shall include a map of each city indicating each incident of asthma. § 2. The study shall be completed by September thirtieth, two thousand twenty-one. § 3. The report and an interactive map shall be completed and posted on the department of health's website by January first, two thousand twenty-two. § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
